FOOD

One of the real perks of being a journalist is getting to meet amazing chefs and food growers, talk to them about how they make their amazing creations—and eat! I’ve been lucky enough to indulge in meals at some of Denver’s coolest new restaurants, visit Colorado’s famed apple and peach orchards, and learn how to make fruit galettes. Ain’t life grand?

You can’t be shy and be a journalist. You have to enjoy talking to people and, more important, asking questions. Usually when I am done with an interview, I pinch myself that I get to talk to so many interesting people: artists, entrepreneurs, chefs, athletes…. Here are a few portraits of my favorite people.
